The general assembly of the EBIE, held on 13 September 2024 at the MET Hotel, was completed with great success and the attendance of many members in Thessaloniki, with the cities participating and representing the state with the physical presence of the Deputy Minister of Interior of Macedonia - Thrace Mr. Kostas Gioulekas, the MP of Thessaloniki Mr. Dimitris Kouvela, the MP of Thessaloniki Mr. Theodoros Karaoglou.
The honorary plaque was awarded to the MP of Pieria, Mr. Xenophon Baraliakos, by the President of the Association for his active participation in the Association.
During the meeting a letter was read by Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, Secretary General of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group.
A new era for EVEE and its members is about to begin with an extroversion plan, a dynamic presence and participation in European Institutions #SolarHeatEurope in Brussels and new innovative ideas to be implemented and strengthen the position of the Association (EVEE) both in Greece and abroad.

The new targets set by EBIE are:
- Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between EN.E.EPI.TH.E and EVIE.
- Completion of a sectoral study at the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research (IOBE).
- Exploration of cooperation with SEV and participation of its members in the Board of the Association.
- Signing of a pre-agreement with the Municipality of Athens for the association's contribution to the achievement of the climate neutrality target in Athens by 2030.
THERMIC was present, with its CEO and Owner Mr. Ilias Kastrisios, actively participating once again in the events of the Solar Thermal Energy sector.
